Correct spelling always helps lend credibility, therefore making any written missive all the more persuasive.

Prince pleads (very successfully eye feel) to address social injustices and lingering maladies that affect society today. His personification of the "powers that be" as Mr Man, really create a emotional connection.
His feelings of desperation mixed with clarity of universal truth make u feel like now is the time to get things done. - write a letter and influence people who can create a big change, be generous and caring helping those suffering from poverty and discrimination, ... His words to echo loudly within your mind... his words - creative and personal, so down to earth - he is talking to u and me . And it is this focussed light on suffering and the prolems we face that make this piece of text so persuasive. Dear Mr. Man What’s wrong with the world 2day? Things just got 2 get better Sho' ain't what the leaders say Maybe we should write a letter Dear Mr. Man We don’t understand Y poor people keep struggling But U don’t lend a helping hand Matthew 5:5 say: The meek shall inherit the earth We wanna b down that way But U been trippin since the day of Ur birth Who said that 2 kill is a sin Then started every single war That Ur people been in? Who said that water Is a precious commodity Then dropped a big old black oil slick In the deep blue sea? Who told me, Mr. Man That working round the clock Would buy me a big house in the 'hood With cigarette ads on every block Who told me Mr. Man That Eye got a right 2 moan? How 'bout this big ol' hole in the ozone? What’s wrong with the world 2day Things just got 2 get better Dear Mr. Man, we don’t understand Maybe we should write a letter Listen, ain’t no sense in voting Same song with a different name Might not b in the back of the bus But it sho' feel just the same Ain’t nothin' fair about welfare Ain’t no assistance in AIDS Ain't nothing affirmative about ur actions 'Till the people get paid Ur thousand years r up Now U got 2 share the land Section 1, the 14th Amendment says: No state shall deprive any person Of life, liberty, or property Without due process of law Mr. Man, We want 2 end this letter with 3 words "We tired U'all!" "All of me give 2 thee down at your feet ...
The reassurance in your rhythm speaks 2 me." -------------------------------------------------------- "I wanna hold U, wrap U up in lace. And I wanna kiss U, kiss U all over your face."
