Anyone thing Prince will win a grammy?

I think he should win R&B male vocal for call my name.

Interesting he's up for pop male vocal for cinnamon girl. If he by any chance wins that, would it be the first time someone won pop male vocal for a song that never cracked the hot 100?

PRINCE WILL WIN ATLEAST 1!!!!

Usher's album is good, but no masterpiece...and Prince's vocals are far better than Usher's any given day of the week!

Prince definitly has a shot of taking home some this year. He doesn't stand a chance for Best R&B song, and Alicia Keys will probably win best R&B album. But the other 3 he has a chance for. And also, Confessions is a good album. Sure Usher gets a lot from MJ and Prince, bought he's still very talented and has good music. If you don't like that album, probably one of three things are true: 1) you don't own it, 2)are just biased towards Prince or 3) Becoming like your parents used to be and disowning 90% of music made beyond 2000 (or your case maybe 1980).


I think he will win for Best Traditional R&B vocal for Musicology and that'll be his one for the night.

i think he's guaranteed at least a couple of awards, but he won't get all 5.

It's definitely possible for him to win an award, Usher is not competing against him in all the categories he's nominated in!


Are all the specific awards Prince is nominated for going to be on television?
I know they don't show a lot of them on TV, so I was just wondering. Also, what time and network will the Grammys be on?

I don't agree with that. You can't judge an artist by their best album(s) every year. It's an annual show. Yes he is a legend, but I'm sorry to say that not all of his stuff is great... In fact, some of it is crap. This year's nominations are for Musicology, not for the albums he is remembered for. Wouldn't be fair to take prior years into consideration.

Its like you know Ray Charles will win cuz he's dead now. It was the same thing with Johnny Cash last year. Everyone gets glorified after they die.

I will be rooting like hell for Prince though!!! I hope they show all the categories he is nominated for...
