Can U dig it? Prince music in the movies! First, I would like to say is that I don't watch movies very much.
I don't go to theaters, blockbuster, suncoast video, etc. For me, HBO is a HB-NO 
Anyway, some friends came over to visit tonight and thought having a movie party would be perky. They brought "Hook" and "Showgirls" -- to my GREAT SURPRISE, I discover a familiar voice singing -- it's our sweet PRINCE! The song was Ripopgodazippa!!!!! (in showgirls) I had no idea he released music for this movie!!!!! Of all the movies in the world, the one I see has Prince music in it. What a beautiful divine surprise! Life is so strange though. I just about died of shock right there on the couch! Now I wonder what other movies have Prince (music) in them. Can others add to this small list? Showgirls Girl 6 Bright Lights, Big City of course, Batman I recall there were a few movies in the 80s that also had tracks with Vanity, i dont recall their names. Anyone? 
Shall eye continue? Alright... but u gotta do somethin 4 me first. Alright - dig up y'all and i'll show u a new trick! Are u ready? Alright. Private Joy was in Weird Science but is is wasnt Prince singing it. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Just curious! Why dont yu like movies? Some movies are cool if I like the star -- like Tom Cruise, or if it is an uplifting unique tale like What Dreams May Come or Willy Wonka 
My personality doesn't like surprises, so I don't like sitting for 2 hours watching the story unfold. (I'd rather read the book version and always i start with the last chapter first.) I watch mostly music programs, romantic tv dramas, news and education type shows. I'm strange!

I just watched Shawn of the Dead. None of his music was played, but when the two stars were going to start throwing some albums at the undead, the 1st three albums one of them flipped through in the box were Purple Rain, Sign O The Times, and the Batman Soundtrack. What's the use of being young if you ain't gonna get old

"I Wanna Be Your Lover" was prominently featured in one episode of "Diff'rent Strokes" (I think Willis was dancing to it in preparation of impressing his date, Charlene, played by Janet Jackson). | |
