Sign O' the Times II If you collect together all the subsequently released outtakes from the Sign O' the Times LP you can burn yourself a nifty little Sign O' the Times II. Mixing in cuts from SOTT won't work cos the sound quality of those gems is inferior.
I tried to keep the track listing as close as I could to the order they would have appeared on the unreleased Dream Factory / Crystal Ball projects. 1. Dream Factory (3:07, Crystal Ball) 2. Sexual Suicide (3:40, Crystal Ball) 3. Crystal Ball (10:30, Crystal Ball) 4. Power Fantastic (4:45, The B-Sides) 5. Last Heart (3:01, Crystal Ball) 6. Movie Star (4:26, Crystal Ball) 7. Rock Hard in a Funky Place (4:32, The Black Album) 8. Joy in Repetition (4:54, Graffiti Bridge) 9. We Can Funk (5:28, Graffiti Bridge) 10. Can't Stop This Feeling I Got (4:25, Graffiti Bridge) 11. Feel U Up (3:45, The B-Sides) 12. Shockadelicka (3:32, The B-Sides) 13. Good Love (4:56, Crystal Ball) 14. La, La, La, He, He, He (3:23, The B-Sides) 15. Make Your Mama Happy (4:01, Crystal Ball) 16. Crucial (5:06, Crystal Ball) Running Time 73:31

Rebirth Of The Flesh?
If you're including Dream Factory stuff, what about Train too.

omnithanos said: subsequently released Right, I didn't read that part You could still include them in one form or another though - Rebirth has been released as a live rehersal version (NPGMC Year One download) and Train was on Mavis Staple's Time Waits For No One.

Ok I have to admit that I've never actually heard those two tracks altough I believe rebirth is suposed to be excellent, sure isn't it the opening track on one of your favourite (non) albums, namely Camille. I'm still missing the likes of 1800 new funk, gold nigga and the madhouse albums from my collection and my boots only consist of "The Choclate Album" and "old friends 4 sale" so I'm obviously not a proper fan. I may as well go and listen to my Disney CD instead.

No NewDancer, I said subsequently released, unless Rebirth and Train are on either Choclate Invasion or Slaughterhouse which I don't have yet. There was a version of Rebirth Of The Flesh released through the NPGMC. It was a rehearsal outtake though, not the original. Personally, I'd like to do this, but with ONLY unreleased tracks. Songs like Train, Others Here With Us, All My Dreams, etc. Oh, and not to nitpick, but the versions of "Cant Stop (This Feelin I Got)" and "We Can Funk" that are on GB are radically different from the ones recorded during this time period. WCF sounds almost completely different and CSTFIG is a whole lot less rollicking (personally, I think the GB version sounds like a lame "Footloose" rip-off). Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
