Hi, don´t know why but I love that song, too.
Maybe the lyrics are not great, but it´s something between my ears and my feet.
I´ve always loved it since first time I listened to it. Really, don´t you like the barking sounds mix?, it´s a song full of tricks, and I think they work fine.

But I guess if you don´t like that kind of music, you are not going to like this song. I think the problem with this topic is that Prince has attempted such a broad range of styles, and people are voting against styles they hate.

Many people are also voting against experimental cuts, because some people don´t really appreciate originality, they don´t see that experimental songs sometimes contain the core of a future success (that goes for almost the entire Parade album, and strange things like Do you lie, or even Pop Life, which i think is superb)

And I like Jughead, too. (I had to say it)
