What Prince albums/songs do you like that are generally considered to be not so great amongst the Prince fandom?

Personally, I love NEWS and Emancipation and I love the songs 'Tick, Tick, Bang' and 'Graffiti Bridge'.

Various songs from the "For You" and "Prince" albums.

I never hear about "Gotta Stop Messin' About" being one of the catchier jams from the "Dirty Mind" era.

"The Human Body", "New World" and "My Computer" from Emancipation.

I love C&D! Besides "Dig U Better Dead" and "I Rock, Therefore I Am", great album.

I totally dig "When U Love Somebody" from NPS, and I'll tell you why. From the 5'34" mark to the end, it's pure bliss. I can't hide from the fact that it kicks my ass to the curb.

He could have done much better but I like all the tracks. "Trust" is the weakest track but it's listenable. Of all the Prince albums in the late 1980s that followed "Purple Rain", "Batman" is my favorite because it's cold and dark. It was kind of like a brief return to the "old Prince"...only weaker.

"Peach," "Human Body," "Tick Tick Bang," and the entire For You album. Some others as well, I'm sure.

Gansta Glam...there I admit it! It may not be If I were your girlfriend but that songs makes me work up a sweat.

Oh and the whole New Power Soul album. People just can't recoginze the brilliance of that album. Which is so sad.

Ay, lots! I like Betcha By Golly Wow, Arms Of Orion, Vicki Waiting...the whole Batman, but those two people seen to shnub most. peach is cool, and I don't think Diamonds and Pearls is too fluffy or whatnot...
