Which one do you think is better?

I don't think so....

It is "Raspberry Beret" isn't it where it's totally different extended versions on the UK & US versions, isn't it?

Oh no, you're kidding? What's the difference between the UK & US "Raspeberry Beret" 12"s then? Is it b-sides? I'm sure there is some kinda difference.
I was asking because I wanted to work out which one to buy

The extended versions are exactly the same. It's Pop Life that has radically different versions on the U.S. and U.K. 12" singles.

Raspberry Beret:

12" UK W8929T
A Side: Raspberry Beret (Extended Remix)

12" USA 0-20355
A Side: Raspberry Beret (New Mix)

The UK and US 12"s have the same mix with different names.

"Pop Life" has two different mixes: the 'Extended Version' (UK 12" W8858T) and the 'Fresh Dance Mix' (12" USA 0-20357)

I can never remember the difference, I know the extended version is approx. 3 mins longer.

I prefer the Fresh Dance Mix I think, the one with the "la, la, la, la....." bit. cool

You're in the minority. Wasn't that Sheila E singing that part?

How did you arrange the songs on your ATWIAD "Special Edition" CD? Where did you put the B-sides?

The UK 12" is basically the unedited 'full length' 9:07 version.

The US 12" is a 6:16 remix made using parts of the full length version with
additional recording and production from Sheila E.

As Langebleu has already mentioned, the UK & US 12" versions of Raspberry Beret
are actually the same, they're just named differently.

The UK 12" version of Pop Life is so much sweeter than the US version.

But the 12" mix of Let's Go Crazy is the sheeeiiit.

yes it is, Frere Jacques that is... Frere Jacques is actually a sleeping song which to me makes it quite humorous, considering where in the mix it is placed, right at the moment it's starting to get a bit boring
