Does the food fight mentioned in the book "The Rise and Fall of Prince" count?

There supposedly was a food fight that took place between The Revolution and The Time when they were on tour. Apparently, the groups were so competitve with each other that eventually it came to them throwing blows...errr food. Anyway, the book mentioned that in the end Prince had his bodyguard tie Jesse Johnson to a coat rack. With Jesse unable to move, Prince continued to throw food at him as well as verbal taunts.


The book also mentioned Prince being jealous of one of his band members ability to get women, so he would be a complete dick to him. Prince even challenged him to a fight however, not with him but his bodyguard. I forget the band members name but needless to say, he declined to fight.

Prince opened the Rolling Stone's concert October 9 1981. Prince said "When we went on stage, there were a lot of people throwing things and making noises and stuff. At first I thought it was fun, okay, and then I thought, "Well, we just better play." Dez, my guitar player, is used to a more rock 'n' roll adudience, and said, "Show 'em we can play, and then it'll simmer down." But there was this one dude right in front and I looked down on him-u could see hatred all over his face. He wouldnt stop throwing things. And the reason that I left was I didnt want to play anymore. I just wanted to fight him. I got very angry. It's like, "Look, I got 20 minutes. If u cant deal with that, we'll have to go outside and work it out." U know? How dare u throw something at me!"
