Purple Rain. Although I liked the acting and plot of Under The Cherry Moon, it all comes down to which one I'd watch more, and that'd be Purple Rain because of the performances.



Chaos And Disorder. A lot of people would probably disagree with me, and dismiss it as nothing more than an album released only to get out of his contract, but honestly, how can you not like this album? It has some of THE finest Prince guitar work on it, and every track, in my opinion, has its own identity and every song fits, and works for the album as a whole. It really is an impressive dark, rock album coming from a man who is more known for his softer, lighter shades of music...



There are too many songs I like for one to be called my favorite. Not one in particular, but for the sake of choosing, I'd pick When Doves Cry because it was one that I could most identify with after I got out of a long relationship years ago.



Changing his name to . Come on, who else has the balls to change their name to an unpronounceable symbol and still be able to make a successful career out of it?



Besides me? j/k. Well, no one really comes to mind, but in my wildest dreams (like it would ever happen), why not Marilyn Manson? They both promote (used to promote) androgony, both are very successful and well-known for their strange antics, and both sing/play/write their own stuff. Why not?



'80's Prince, forever and always. He wasn't black music or white music, nor any one genre. In the '90's I feel he was pushing it, trying to appeal more towards the black audience, what, with the rap and all, and nowadays, he's too damn religious for me.

Both of them (hits) could've been better, although I did like the collection of B-Sides.



More funky. I would like to hear something like LoveSexy again, some pure, good funk. Maybe some collaborations with Bootsy or George to help bring it again. If this didn't happen, I would like something to sound more like '80's Prince or more of a rock record, like C&D. Honestly, I hate a lot of the music he's putting out nowadays because there isn't anything ground-breaking, sexual, or vulgar.



OutKast, for sure. Lenny's got some appeal to him, and No Doubt have got a little too.



Of recent memory, when he was on Jay Leno in 2004 with Mel Gibson. The performance was great, and I loved how he was teasing Mel in the interview.



I like many, but, again, for the sake of choosing, She's Always In My Hair.
