Is it that musc better than the first DVD version. I don't have surround sound or anything like that. I just have a basic stereo TV. There used to be a thread about it but I don't know how 2 search 4 it. I tried to serach using Purple Rain but it didn't work.

Who has the new re-released PR? Is it that much better better? Is it just the sound that's better? NO deleted scenes?

no deleted scenes, but there's a commentary track, and a whole disc of interviews with the revolution and other actors and folks involved with the movie, plus footage from the MTV PR premiere party that's pretty priceless in my opinion. plus it has the videos for all the singles, including the live "take me with u" and "i would die 4 u/baby i'm a star" clips.

i have no complaints with it.

it's the shiz. much better than the old version. the extras are great.
