Ice Cube Movie "Are We There Yet?" Has Prince Intro! Just saw the mediocre film, "Are We There Yet?" (it was just okay) with Ice Cube, and was pleasantly surprised to hear the song "I Wanna Be Your Lover" by Prince at the intro to the movie... pretty sweet.
Sadly, that was the best part of the film.

I am hoping to take my kids there this weekend to see that movie. It looks funny. I am keeping my ears open when I watch it, maybe sing along out loud

OK, here goes my input on this topic:
Recently they showed "George of the Jungle" on TV and they used Get Off as background music in the trailer 
Nice, huh ?

I saw the movie as well, and was pleasantly surprised to hear I wanna be your Lover. And they played it for a few minutes or it seemed like it, I disagree with June7's analization of the movie, I enjoyed it, it is a made for children movie, It has a Dr. Doolittle feel to it, Warm and child like with a happy ending. Ice Cube was great, every kid will love this movie, and every female will as well. Now the brothers may think its a little gayish, but I enjoyed it too. So don't take June7's word for it, go see it for yourself, I think you will like it. How you gonna get my back when you fronting. | |

I saw it this past weekend...was nice to hear Prince's music on the big screen. I gotta agree with June 7, the movie was BAD. Our standards have been lowered if you find this movie worthwhile. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
