Is Larry Graham an "old friend"?! 'Old friends' is mentioned and everyone automatically thinks of the Revolution or Wendy and Lisa. More likely it would be Larry Graham, Doug E. Fresh and Chaka Khan - yes, a return to the glory days of New Power Soul!! How about this - it was reported that Prince has done a recording session with the old NPG - Michael Bland, Sonny T. - The New Power Trio. Now, THEY are also old friends...

Space for sale... | |

Larry, Chaka and Doug E. would be current friends. OLD FRIENDS would mean someone from the past, like Michael B or Sonny T. Who would really care about the whole "old friends" thing if it wasn't someone like old band members really? I hope that Twin Peaks dream was a good sign sos, I can't get my head to go there right now..too early! But damn...that would be nice

Musicology is Prince's highest grossing tour ever. It's the 8th highest grossing tour in history. He has to release a DVD. Wendy and Lisa on a new album would be the shiznit. I believe they make him better. Some kinda chemistry or something. Just the thought of it is totally exciting. I have an album Wendy did alot of work on with Neil Finn called "One All" and it's freaking awesome. She really has a knack for bringing the best out in talented people. I really think she and Prince could do some amazing stuff together! "Life is just a party and parties weren't meant to last"

This is exciting to hear but you never know what Prince is going to do. I hope we hear something soon. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

First it was January, then February, now March, or perhaps summer.... or perhaps next year or never! That's how it starts - all the Woo Hoos! And smiley faces, then it's the boo hoos and the 'What every happened to that album/dvd release date?' OmG!!!!
I'm over Musicology so I'm getting my thrills from the prospect of a new album -- with "old friends" no less. Please, please, please bring out some Revolutionaries!!! I really need Prince, Wendy, and Lisa to make a new song together. I need Prince to be surrounded with creative tension and genius again so he can make some ground-breaking kick-ass cuts. And I need him to invite us to Paisley Park this summer to listen to the new album like he did with Rainbow children. (I'll settle for an invite to his new Beverly Hills mansion, though )

A Musicology DVD in the spring and another album in the summer with some old friends on it?!?!?!
Okay, excuse me while I have a happy moment: It doesn't get much better than this. And he's living in Beverly Hills? Rock on. I wonder how many people will be going to buy star maps to find out where his house is. I might!!! I'm still not done with my happy dance yet: (But no European leg of the Musicology tour?)

Not to be a negative-nelly, but E-News is very often E-Wrong. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Wednesday January 19, 08:01 PM Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock to re-team for romantic drama LOS ANGELES (AFP) - The stars of the 1994 mega-hit thriller "Speed", Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, are set to team up again in a romantic comedy that will begin shooting later this year. The pair have signed on to co-star in Warner Bros.' studios "Il Mare", which will be directed by Argentinean filmmaker Alejandro Agresti, according to Daily Variety. The script for the movie, an English-language remake of a South Korean film Siworae (2000), will be written by Pulitzer-winning playwright David Auburn. Bullock will play a lonely doctor opposite Reeves' frustrated architect who fall in love through a series of letters they exchange through a mailbox that mysteriously bridges time. The film, to be produced by Vertigo Entertainment's Roy Lee and Doug Davison, is scheduled to begin shooting in March and will be released in early 2006. Reeves is the star of the hit "Matrix" movies while Bullock, who shot to fame in the terror thriller "Speed," starred in "Miss Congeniality" (2000), the sequel to which, "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous," is due out this year.
