Erotic City: Better live, or album version? Tough call for me. The album version is still scorching hot, but to hear the Revolution work through a dozen different live versions is positively lovely. This jam is the baddest weapon in the Prince arsenal. Which is your favorite? | |

You´re right , but this one is such a famous club and mixtape classic that it definitely falls into the "studio=better" category for me, just like When Doves Cry.Great examples of the genius that Prince is when he locks himself up in the studio. oh yes, yes yes.....this is one hot number. Rarely has our diminutive friend created such a raunchy, stirring, dance-inducing track. Either version would do music fans justice. But as an earlier post mentioned, hearing the Revolution work out to this tune is a real treat. | |
