Well growing up in Minneapolis you run into alot of people who worked/know Prince. I have heard a ton of Prince gossip I would bet most of it is probahly true. I just doubt that people have someting against Prince and want to start nasty rumors about the man.
I work with one woman who said that one of her friends went on a date with Prince back in the eighties. She said P called her up and said "I'll pick you up at eight. Wear a black dress". Well all they did was ride around in his limo listing to his upcoming album-which at the time was "Sign of the Times". She said Prince asked the girl out after that but the girl was like "Uhhh..no thanks" The girl he went out with had dark hair and was extremley short by the way. Another lady I know said she was on a flight with Prince in the eigties and he was talking a mile a minute because he was very nervous about flying. Aparently he was clutching his pillow too. ??? Last week I ran into this guy who used to work for Warner Bros. He said he worked with Prince's personal assistant who told him that Prince used to look at magazines point to a girl he wanted to meet and would say " I want to meet her" Then the personal assistant would find out who she was and set up a private jet to go get her to meet Prince. Also I hear stories from various dancers about how Prince used to come into Solid Gold alot (which was a gentleman's club in Minneapolis) in the early ninties. I am not saying if all thease stories are true I am just relaying the Prince gossip I have heard over the years.  | |
