Recently I have been listening to a lot her music and theres seems to be a lot of similaraties between the two, at the beginning of the man child with the in his eyes is the intro to most beautiful girl. several of her songs have been by sampled by prince like the horn stabs he uses on the keyboard.
Another of her tracks called breathing is about making love and child birth during the apocolypse - crystal ball?
one other thing, When kate did her one and only tour she used a symbol painted as a back drop, guess what it was? a female sign with another symbol crossing through it.this was 1978
My opinion is on a lot of Princes other worldly music he seems to draw from two artists, Kate and Andreas Vollenweider the electric harpist.
Anyone else noticed any of these things?

The story is, that Prince got into Kate around the Hounds of Love album time, due to one of his engineers. Not surprising, since it has some (for the time) amazing drum machine programming which Prince was also into.

I doubt he saw her 1978 tour!

I also doubt he directly sampled her music - keyboards, etc have various musical sounds stored in them, such as drum loops and horn riffs - it is entirely possible for unrelated artists to use identical sounds if they are using the same equipment, and these days you can buy sound libraries.

Kate has a new album coming out this year. Finally...
