The Family and P versions (that I've heard), just don't capture that same "had my heart ripped out and stomped on" pain. I'd love hear him do a really stripped down acoustic version.


I agree. Prince's version is standard R&B, and The Family's version is very nice - but Sinead took what seemed like a very pedestrian song and made it exceptional.

Yep. Most people would agree that the rehearsal version on the Nudity CD is THE best Prince version of the song.
