BATMAN SPEC ED DVD NEWS According to thedigitalbits.com, Tim Burton has re-recorded the commentary track to include a "special guest". Now, I know it's too much to hope for but maybe.....

No way is that "special guest" Prince. Could be Danny Elfman. Maybe the Prince videos Batdance and Partyman and Scandalous will be the 2-DVD set Special Edition extras. Goodnight, sweet Prince. | |

About time they released this as a special edition. Tim Burton's Batman was great. Just in time for the release of Batman 5 as well. That looks great.

hmmm I never thought of that. Kim Basinger was gonna be in "gb".....Spike Lee visited Prince on set.....apparantly Jam and Lewis wanted Spike to direct their next time video, Spike said no 
If it has "batdance" and "partyman" videos (which it must as they actually have the films themes) then I may buy the DVD. I have both them videos in perfect order but the film is great anyway though.....was "arms of orion" video any good? Shitty song but I gather it had no Batman themes like the other 2 did | |

Prince could be the special guest only if he got paid lots of money. Wasn't that the reason why he didn't contribute to any of the other DVD releases? He refused to do it for free and convinced the other major stars of Purple Rain not to be interviewed for free also, no? | |
