The only thing I don't like about it is the song "We March"! I would have replaced it with "Interactive" or "Days Of Wild" or "Acknowledge Me" or "Ripopgodazippa"... Days Of Wild.

We March is easily the worst song on the album. Most of the rest of it kicks fucking ass. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

After the spine-tingling ending to SHHH,we get this cheesy pop-lite song that threatens the passion and intensity of the album.

I just remember that on Letterman, when Prince performed "Dolphin," throughout the show leading up to the performance, Letterman had a cardboard cutout of the 0(+> symbol. Every time he referred to Prince, he just held the symbol up. At one point, Letterman went to refer to Prince, held up the symbol and there was an extra curl on the symbol. Dave tore it off and told Paul that it was "a typo."
Also, the CD(booklet) that Letterman held up was similar to the released version, but seemed to be printed on foil. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Memo to any Londoners on this thread: the second-hand Record Exchange in Notting Hill Gate is selling 6 copies of "The Gold Experience" on CD in excellent condition.
Each one is going for £4, so get your skates on an you'll be in with a chance to get your mitts on them . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

You're right -- it was definitely a metallic ink of some kind on the booklet that Letterman had. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. The most amazing failure of Prince's career. Coupled with WB, the potential of this album was infinite. TMBGITW was the most wasted top 10 track ever. It still bothers me what happened to the timing and promotion of this top 5 Prince gem. Started the downward spiral of his popularity in the 90's. (Insert something clever here)
