Does the song "Wednesday" truly exist? I've heard it was supposed to be a part of original Purple Rain soundtrack and was pulled. But I have not seen it in bootlegs or anything. Responses appreciated.

Yes it exists.
There are hundreds of songs that haven't appeared on any bootlegs. Apparently, it is a piano-led track, sung by Jill Jones. The Uptown books give recording dates and lyrics. It is not widely circulating amongst fans. ยป NouveauDance [Edited 1/22/05 7:15am]

You can hear it on the Intimate Moments session of Prince just playing piano.

That's right ... it was sometimes referred to as 'There's No Telling What I Might Do' . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

Is the song considered to be any good? The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.
