Well just to let U all know that the date that I had seen posted of 2/1/04 has been removed. I have been talking to a Rep at Sony and right now nothing is known, so Im guessing that the CD/DVD wasnt going to be under SONY but possible under just NPG and Prince was looking for a label to put it out widely. I still think February will see its release since the Grammy Buzz will be huge through Feb especially if he wins/Performs again. Other artists like USHER and ALICIA KEYS are cashing in on the Grammies, USHER's live DVD is out 2/8 and ALICIA's Unplugged CD is out 4/5. Once again WHO knows what will happen until its in your hand.

I can't help thinking rumours of Prince projects that don't actually appear is a lot like all those predictions of the end of the world - when it gets near to the stated date, they go, err, uhmm, we've re-checked the figures and it turns out the end of the world is actually in another 7 years...

Just goes to show that it is pretty pointless getting excited about rumoured Prince projects. Heck, even when it comes from his mouth it doesn't necessarily guarantee it - Roadhouse Garden anyone?

Can't help thinking that Prince doesn't actually like releasing live shows, because they don't match his image of perfection. I'm sure every show has some slight error here or there that he can't bear to let people see over and over. Practically every live video he's ever done has been edited one way or another - only ones I can think of that aren't is P & the Revolution Live and Lovesexy.

its funny though cos he supposedly plays dvds of that nights show at afterparty shows etc and he was in talks with NBC (?) to show one of the shows live. but yeah, i think when it comes to "releasing" it to the public, he's abit more wary.

i imagine that's why he release the question of u/fallin vid on npgmc, cos it was one song he thought was perfect, whereas the rest of the show might not have been
