"Violet Blue" is one of the standout tracks on this project to me. I really like this one.

Anx said it correctly, and for the longest time "Violet Blue" was my fav on the album for just that reason.

She even did justice to "All Day All Night." Jill was truly among the cherished few Paisley Park artists who really had it together.

It is a brilliant moment.

You know what's so great about Violet Blue - You could play it to anyone, and they would never guess it was Prince - it sounds NOTHING like him at all - Shows his breadthe.

I was watching an old episode of "A Diffrent World" and on the dorm room wall it had a poster of her album cover.

maybe that's a topic for the associates forum but the song is beautiful. One of the underrated / forgotten classics.

In particularly I love the beginning. Listen to the first seconds. Great production work.

i got the jill jones album too....all day all night was done very well by her as well as g-spot.you can tell that it was fleshed out though.

"Violet Blue" is definitely a standout on this excellent album. "My Man" is my personal all time favorite track, though.
