Maybe he want to stay in L.A until it get w arm back in Minneapalis.

He's had homes in other cities throughout his career. I think that Minnie is his primary residence, 'cause that's where his recording studio is. The highs are in the below zero's here, so who can blame a mofo for going where the warmth is?

I know Prince had a house in L.A. during the early '80s just because he had to go there so often -- I heard he sold it in '87 or so, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has another. No matter -- Minneapolis will always be his home.

Prince had a house in LA he never really "moved" there.

I told y'all before, he only goes to LA when he gets a craving for Roscoe's chicken and waffles.

I suppose LA is one of the centres of media, so realistically if you want to be player, that's where you've got to be. Also Prince has recorded at many other studios than Paisley Park, LA Sunset Sounds being one of his favourites (?).

I met this one guy that "knows" or "works" with Prince and he said Prince goes back and forth between L.A. and Mpls. So he probably lives in both places. I mean hasn't he always lived in both areas for a while? Besides I don't blame him for spending more time in L.A. right now-it is freakin' COLD here right now!

I thought Prince was suppposed to be spending most of his time in Canada (Toronto?) these days, in Mani's hometown.

Yes. The house was leased by Warner Bros for Prince. He stayed there while recording(pre-Paisley Park).

Good...maybe he'll start recording in Sunset Sound again with Susan Rogers and bring some warmth back to his music.

I have heard over the most recent years he has houses in: Hawaii, Canada, Spain (he gave to Mayte), Minneapolis & Italy.
