Yeppers, it's a very old 3CD set of out-takes.
It was later followed up by the imaginatively titled Jewel Box II. Great at the time, but they've been usurped by later bootleg releases like the Moonraker/Thunderball 3CD sets, which were kinda based on the Jewel Box idea I guess. Sound quality can be found much better these days on most tracks, so unless you want it for your collection and can find it cheap, I wouldn't bother with it - Unless you didn't have any other way of hearing the songs on the set.

There are only 5 volumes of The Work released by Thunderball. The volumes 6 to 9 are fan-made CD-Rs. I never got The Work series by Thunderball since I had all the existing Moonraker 3CD sets (Fantasia, H2o, Deposition etc) - I didn't see the point in getting the same stuff twice. But if I was gonna buy a bootleg out-take series now, The Work would be the one I went for, for the largest complete collection of out-takes circulating, and the best overall sound quality. However, I fail to see why anyone would buy them in these days of the internet, unless they were a bootleg collector, or felt the need to have a pressed booklet that gives them a brief over-view of what is discussed here everyday. All the material on the Work and buckets loads more is available all over the net, and you don't really have to look very hard. » NouveauDance [Edited 1/16/05 9:09am]
