Philly 24th show

For those who were ther or seen the boot, did anyone notice when Prince drops his mic while he was singing I wouuld die 4 u at the begining?

For once it showed Prince was human biggrin But it also showed how quickly he can recover and still keep the crowd going!

After the crowd sighs he quicly picks up the mic and continues as if nothing happened.

is that the one where that big chick tried to turn it into a 2 Live Crew show
and started chasing Prince about the stage?
He kept quite profesional tho by jumping on top of his piano and shouting for security.

lol
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

I did notice that he dropped his mic.....it happened so fast and it's so rare to see Prince drop his mic or guitar (American Band Stand '79) I had to rewind the tape. The Philly show was tight....It seems like "Call my name" add at the last minute because when he came up at the end (with the pearls hanging down) that was usually the end of the show singing Purple Rain.

I was at that show! Yes, I did see him drop the mike stand, but he picked it up so fast that if U happened 2 look away, you would have missed it. I was also at the 1st show in Philly too. He didn't drop the mike that night. lol
