For a song that would/could be actually played on radio... X-Tina

For a song that us geeks here would all enjoy... The former TTD (Sananda)

...Actually, I wouldn't need to hear Prince's voice on this one. Him on instruments; her on voice.

I agree his voice would sound great with india.arie's. nod

India Arie
Joni Mitchell
David Bowie
Sade
Nelly Furtado
Iggy Pop
Bob Dylan
Pink or Andre 3000 would be best if you're going for radio friendly...
I'm not sure it's the best idea, but it could be interesting to hear what a Prince/Green Day collaboration would sound like.
Mick Jagger

As for the impossible-but-fun-to-think about's:

young Elvis
Janis Joplin
The Doors
Hendrix
John Lennon
Tupac (I know he sampled lil bits here and there, but an all-out duet/collab would've been cool)
Bob Marley
Eddie Cochrane
Buddy Holly

I'd have to go for:

Sananda Maitreya;
David Bowie;
Neil Young;
Bruce Springsteen;
Heather Nova;
Sade;
Joni Mitchell;
D'Angelo;
Lenny Kravitz;
Alicia Keys;
Angie Stone;
Erykah Badu;
The Roots

I also wouldn't be against:

Janet Jackson;
Beyonce;
Bilal;
Amp Fiddler;
Cody ChesnuTT;
Outkast
Van Hunt

How could I forget Stevie. Kate Bush is also a great singer, so I say yes. The collaboration with Gwen didn't do it for me.

Prince should not do a duet with anyone, especially someone current. Hell, he's Prince, not Michael Jackson.
Andy is a four letter word.

As there have been enough serious and profound answers... How about these?

Slayer
Al Martino
John Mellencamp
Dieter Bohlen (German orgers will understand...)
Eminem (doin' some of his homophobic raps, and then Prince appears in one of his Lovesexy outfits...)

and... (my favourite)

no..she retired to just be a mother...she quit being a priest a few years back..(something about her not practicing but still being one)..she was tired of the media always hounding her and the public always gawking and intruding on her when she was being mum...

but who knows how long this will last...(like the priest thing, like her lesbian thang....)..hopefully not that long.

I wouldn't call it a duet...but The Red Hot Chili Peppers. I would LOVE to hear them work on a track together. The Peppers have the rock that Prince wants and Prince has the funk that the Peppers want. It would be, as Will Ferrel says in Old School, GLORIOUS....
