THE HITS/THE B-SIDES...THE MANY VOICES OF PRINCE

I hear everyone discuss and talk about SCOTT, Parade, Lovesexy, 1999, GE and all other P songs, but I never hear anyone talk about THE HITS/B-SIDES. The B-SIDES is an outstanding collection of songs IMO. I know some of the songs have been discuss individually but I never hear anyone discuss the whole CD. I’ve always had the Hits 1 and 2 never the B- SIDES. Well I finally found the complete set last year and I can’t get this CD out of my player. I’ve been listening 2 this CD every since and it’s an outstanding collection of great songs. This CD portrays so many different sides 2 P. The songs selectively chosen 2 create this wonderful CD gives u so many different voices of him. This CD is everything rolled in2 one except 4 maybe a couple that I may skip over. Well that’s pretty good considering there’s 20 songs 2 listen 2. Anyway R there other B sides out their? If so how does one go about finding them? I absolutely love this CD lol

There are many b-sides that were not included on this compilation.

Funnily enough, you'll find them on the b-sides of the a-sides of singles. wink

I'm sure someone will list them all, including the 12" mixes of the b-sides found on the compilation itself, or you could go looking yourself for a discography.

Here's one to start you off: http://sleevographia2.fre...raphia.htm

I imagine it was done in the interests of fitting on more material, makes sense really - since it's part of a hits package.

When I got the Hits/B-sides on it's release I was a relatively new fan of a couple of years, and I didn't have any vinyl at that point - so getting all these great b-sides on 1 CD was just heaven.

Thank u NouveauDance 4 the link. That’s a pretty cool site and I will defiantly spend some time there. I’m absolutely enjoying this CD. These songs are awesome and like u said its heaven having all these b-sides on one CD. The voices, the lyrics, and the music is so beautiful.
