BEST OF THE ORG GALLERY - 2004 Just a little end of year fun, thought it would be interesting to hear from you guys, and find out what are YOUR favourite photos from the Org gallery this past year, and maybe unearth what YOU guys deem THE Org Gallery pic of 2004.
With your help, this has become an absolute monster of a gallery, pushing very close to three THOUSAND pictures chock full of information and trivia. My many thanx to all those who took the time to participate this past year. My hope for 2005 is that a lot more of you will get involved, and I'm really hoping that you guys as a whole will come together and finally start scouring through all your old trunks, boxes and attics and pulling out all your old gig reviews from local papers, personally shot photos, magazine articles etc and start SCANNING! I know there is a wealth of material out there that could be stored for many who have never seen it before to enjoy. So come on, let's make 2005 the year of the Org! So many pix to choose from I know, and trust me, I of all people know it ain't easy! Though there are several in the Gallery....this one seems to speak to me....shows his age...happiness. Love the Hawaii pics too, for that reason, but none are in the Gallery....thanks nana | |

This is tremendously difficult ... if I was to pick something that has gone up in the Gallery during 2004, I wouldn't know where to start because there's so much to choose from, but if it is a pic from 2004, I think I'd choose something distinctive from the year ... probably a Grammy appearance shot, or a tour publicity shot:

this is a really hard choice. BUT my favourite of the year 2004 is :
Prince opens the Grammy Awards (2004) i chose it because when he performed the Grammys we knew that 2004 would be something to remember. and many thanx 'nana, cuz none of this would be possible without him | |

Prince - One Nite Alone tour: soundcheck (2002) © 2002 Afshin Shahidi this one because it's just a beautiful picture and it's nice to see him behind the drumkit. very intimate. (Gallery image #2931 not found!) at the risk of sounding too gay, I love the colour on this picture. plus Habibi is my fav guitar. looks awesome. An historic & memorable day - Prince performs 'Reflection' on the Tavis Smi... just because it was such a memorable day. who would have thought this might ever happen again? and indeed, thanks for all the work nana, the gallery looks absolutely amazing now. there's so many images collected in there that I truly believe almost no one's ever seen. must be the biggest collection of pics on the net by now.  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

Because it represents the Prince I know and love best. I think the black and white captures the subject elegantly and iconically at a time when Prince was very much on top of his game as an artist. [Edited 12/31/04 6:59am] | |

I loved this picture because it makes me remember an era where his greatness was starting to cross over 2 a broad range of people,it was a sign then that he would be known world wide and one of the worlds greatest musicians. Other than that, 'nana...how do you pick ONE favorite Prince picture? I mean REALLY!!!
