Prince in a Porno [b]I have heard rumors that Prince was in a Porno.. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure if he was or not...If he is, I would like to know how to find it  | |

The rumors you heard might be refering to the Prince impersonator in Hustler, and I think Playgirl did a spread as well with someone who looked like Prince.
There was also a mention, a long while back, of him being in some movie called "57 pickup" or something like that, but it was questionable if it was even a bona-fide porn flick. | |

Also there's been at least one pornstar with the  tattoo - and someone a long while back posted a porn picture of two women and there was a Lovesexy poster in the background *giggles* | |

Prince said in a interview that "When I was a kid I was given Playboy magazines and I used to read my mothers erotic novels. Once I got tired of reading those stories I wrote my own. For a while I thought that's what I wanted to do. But I realized that I wasnt going to make any money writing those novels." Dirty Mind sounds like porno music! Goodnight, sweet Prince. | |

Back in the Dirty Mind era, Prince hired a director to make a documentary using footage from some of his concerts. He even considered releasing the documentary as a full feature film. Somewhere along the filming, the director ended up shooting significant footage of Vanity and another female band member participating in bondage, at Prince’s request. He also had the director shoot numerous takes of Prince “exposing” himself. Unhappy with the way things were going with the film, the director quit. No attempts were made at finishing the documentary. This little tidbit can be found in Per Nilsen’s book DMSR (DANCE MUSIC SEX ROMANCE). | |

There was a program on the radio when I was a kid called Radio Scope, they did a special on the music of prince. They claimed that a 20 minute real sex scene was cut from Purple Rain. I have wondered about that to this day. [Edited 1/20/05 11:35am] | |

I honestly don't believe Prince would EVER have agreed - not even way back in his nastiest, most sexually wild days - to be in any type of pornographic anything, be it magazine or movie.
Actual, explicit documentation of him having sex would totally shatter that whole mysterious, enigmatic Sex God image he's worked so hard for so many years to cultivate. Not that I'm saying I think he'd be bad or a disappointment in the sack, but I'm of the opinion he prefers the "mysterious" over reality, and likes it that people have to let their imaginations run wild in regards to what he'd be like sexually, vs. actually seeing him..um..'perform'.
