Thank god my pointless thread could bring up a good discussion. Yeah, the scene between P and Clarence is very moving. On the documentary on Disc 2, Magnoli talks about how that scene represents something that did happen in P's life, in that his real father told him to never get married. What gets me in the interview is that Magnoli starts to tear up over P's dilemma with his dad. Very touching, as is the actual scene.
Officer Shockadelica; Erotic City's finest, baby.

Sometimes, the only escape from the ordinary is to desire the darkness just a little bit more than we considered healthy. Beyond the edge...we may finally find where we belong.

Although it's been said many times, many ways - it isn't hard to pick up songs by ear. Even a hack like me was able to hear "Addicted to Love" in the car and play it note-for-note as soon as I picked up my guitar.

Also, during an interview a few years ago, Prince was talking about his ability to do stuff like this. He said, "Well, if you did something all day, every day for a long time, you'd be good at it."

Sure, he's got more talent that most anyone, but like every great champion, the real reason for his skill level is that he practices more than anyone else.
