"MUSICOLOGY TOUR EUROPE" DEAD IN THE WATER? Is it? I wouldn't really mind if he didn't take that shitty tour over to Europe. All the downloads I have sound boring and bland. Compared to the One Nite Alone deep deep deeeeep ass jams and crazy solo's and grooves and all this tour seems weak to say the least. I know, I know, it's still an amazing show and millions of people went to see it and enjoyed it. That doesn't mean I can't still call it pretty shitty Compare this year's "celebration" set to "xephobia" cele from 2002. And what about the ONA aftershows? Xcuse me miss, can you hold my drink while I wet my pants -for the forth time 2nite. That is some interstellar spaced out shit there. It almost sounds like he was freakin possessed. It went so deep so incredibly deeeeep. Argh. The tracklists, the guitarplaying, oh lord the guitaaaaar. Anywho, what was I saying? Oh yeah, do you still want him to take Musicology over to Europe or is it time to close up the classroom and take the whole school on a trip down to the electric fudge factory? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I agree with you on the ONA tour (well, not everything was that great... don't want to hear Pop Life like that again) and of course the aftershows were killer ("possessed" is the right term to descripe the Nighttown Beautiful Strange performance), BUT this tour isn't shitty at all I think.
The acoustic set, Controversy, DMSR, Insatiable, Let's Work, Shhhh... I'd love to see those! ...but just like me he could make some... [Edited 1/9/05 11:14am]

For me, the only great moment of this tour was when he played Bambi. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

I did see the musicology concert twice in nyc, madison square garden and I have to say although the concert was great the best part of it was feeling the vibe in the garden. but then again beeing seated in the members only area in the berlin concert was not bad either the music of the ona tour, in my opinion was much superior though and this concert was one of the best of the 20 I have seen so far beeing only topped by the sott concert and xenophobia at pp.
