The last time prince won a grammy was in 1987 for best RnB group. since then he has been nominated 14 times but has never won.

Do you think prince has a chance to win his 5th grammy & his first since 1987. I think the grammy board should cut hiim some slack. in the past year he has been getting his ass kicked by usher.

think about it.

if he went to the grammy and ended up empty handed he would be the laughing stock of the music industry

in 2002 India.Arie got 7 nods but went home empty handed

in 2003 avril got 5 nods but went home with no wins

in 2004 50 cent got 5 nods yet again no wins

maybe a 1 in 5 chance

the artists u mentioned dont have even 1/3 the amount of cred that p does so maybe that'll give him a boost

These are the most Grammy nominations Prince has ever received for one album (note: I said "album" and not "year") -- I think he should get at least one of 'em!

I think he could easily leave empty-handed. The tour was strong - one way or another it fuelled the success of Musicology, not the other way around. Musically, I don't think Musicology was strong enough to be a winner.
