I've only seen a small clip. The BBC omnibus doc seems to think there is one. Is their a Daddy pop promo?

The clip they show is just some footage from the d and p tour by the loks of it!

I remember reading a blurb from Jon Bream that Prince was in LA filming the video for Daddy Pop and something about it featuring trampolines.

well the clip I saw was just the NPG on stage going throught the usual "daddy pop" routine..maybe trampolines came later.

Sorta like when "glamslam" was made, maybe it was bascially a perfomance video, but with some alterations.....like trampolines or something?

The "video" was from the live version. Which did feature trampolines.

hey we did it! We conbined both r "talents" and found a video no one proberly cares about.

got it on video. the only trampoline part is prince's entrance where he jumps on from offstage, goes high enough to break his back and lands smoothly before going into some furious dancing with whatever those diamonds and pearls era dancer guys were.

Oh. I thought the trampolines miight have been for something like The Man Show's "girls on trampolines."

The clip shown on the Omnibus documentary is different to the performance footage shown on an american music show a year or so later.For a start during the Omnibus clip he changes costumes about 3 times during the space of 30 seconds, Prince live is amazing , but even thats a bit beyond him I'd say.
Also, the Omnibus documentary aired a few months before the Diamonds and Pearls tour had even kicked off .There was footage shown a few months later of a live performance of Daddy Pop from the tour also , he also performed the song
excellently on Arsenio Hall's TV show during 1991.

cool. So the omnibus is showing rehersal footage or something?
