10+. I am so proud of Prince, he stood out from Everyone and looked and spoke like an Angel. He made everyone else look ok while he looked so Royal just like a Prince. His mannerism was 2 smooth. Totally Priceless. The ovations were diffidently the loudest and longest and what a Royal entrance LOL…..Totally Priceless(yes)

Wierd outfits from Prince, I can deal with---it's those stupid Pimp suits I'm sick of. Black pimp suit- a big fat 0. They're boring and fucking UGLY. He actually manages to look older than he really is in those suits, rather than looking younger like he normally does. White suit...thing...with the hood: 10 I loved it. I'd give this outfit a vote!

Why does he keep having suit jackets made too long? Does he think it makes him look taller? It doesn't. It makes him look like he's wearing Real Grownup Clothes for the first time.
That said, fugly suit, but I love the little diva bitch for wearing it. Adore that man.

WOW! What a great sunday night! I loved loved loved the delicious
vanilla outfit. Style - he's got it!! Anyone can wear a plain suit, but it takes confidence, charisma, grace and sophistication to be extrordinary! Prince was the highlight of the show!!! (The purple hood worn at the 1985 Academy Awards was even more divine. I give that purple look a 10.) The Vanilla hood I rate a soulful elegant and angelic 9. I have a passion for symmetry so I am feeling this style so much more than the musicology clothes. I agree with HallRain --- finding prince in the crowd was easy and helped me know when it was safe to zone out of the show. It was nice of Ellen to mention him too. She's a big fam. Mani was shining bright too! Curves and smiles - Oh she was radiant! "Don't stop dancin'!" Hikaru "All of me give 2 thee down at your feet ...
The reassurance in your rhythm speaks 2 me." -------------------------------------------------------- "I wanna hold U, wrap U up in lace. And I wanna kiss U, kiss U all over your face."

The hood and the medallion were the only parts of the outfit that I liked. The rest of the outfit looked too "normal". Andy is a four letter word.

Prince has done some pretty crazy styles, but most of them were tongue-in-cheek and fun, this one looked goofy and pretentious.

I'm not understanding why Renee could not have thanked Prince for presenting the award to her. I have witnessed other stars who have won awards acknowledge the presenter in the past. It would not have killed her to say something. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I've watched a LOT of various awards shows in my days, too, and I don't think it's any kind of a rule of etiquette or anything for the winner to thank the presenter. Sometimes they do (especially if the winner/presenter have some sort of previous connection or relationship, like have worked on a movie or album together, or are social friends, etc.), and sometimes they don't. I also think sometimes people - meaning we fans of Prince - let our love and admiration of the guy get in the way and forget that not *everybody else* in the world sees him the way we do...maybe Renee thought it was cool to get an award from Prince but didn't feel it necessary to publically thank him for being the one who handed the statuette to him. When she came up on stage she DID appear to say "thank you" TO him as he handed the award to her. What else did she need to do? Also, I've read many times that Renee is notoriously nervous. Maybe she did mean to thank him and just forgot to once she began to speak. It happens. I just don't think anybody should take it some sort of personal slight to Prince or a sign of rudeness that she didn't thank him publically

I like Renee very much but I do agree. That dark hair doesn't flatter her at all. Also last night her face looked rather greasy to me and like she had basically much no makeup on. Either the lighting was awful or her makeup job was. She should go back to being blonde.

That would have been funny, because Prince is known to imitate people just to be silly. But since he was on national TV, he probably thought he'd better stay on his best behavior. RIP, mom. Believe me, I'm totally aware that not everybody sees Prince the way we do. Shoot, I have had MANY people ask me straight out why I like him, and I've had to defend him more than once. I didn't notice that Renee thanked Prince when he helped her up onstage (which I thought was sweet), so you're right, maybe she thought that was sufficient. Also you're probably correct when you said that Renee just forgot to thank him. I would be nervous too if I had to accept an award, and I would probably forget to thank everybody who deserved it as a well. Speaking of people seeming nervous, that one actress who got up onstage to accept an award several times seemed jittery as anything. I forget her name, but she acted like she was a nervous wreck and couldn't wait to finish her speech so that she could sit back down again. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

This is the actress that I mentioned in my previous post who seemed nervous when she was up onstage accepting her awards. Her name is Marg Helgenberger, and she appears on the TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Sorry for the confusion before, but I never watch this show, so I looked it up on Yahoo.

The show was awful. The producers tried to hard. Prince looked awesome. I love the white suit with the SEXUALITY VIDEO hair . I am another person who is sick of the pimp suits. He seemed a little awkward. It was cute that he blew a quick kiss out to Mani, I think it was to her. If you blinked you missed it. I'm so glad Prince laughed at the Ellen joke. I'm glad he didn't take it the wrong way. Prince looked like his old self. He was sitting all feminine and stuff....
Jason Alexander is a pig. All of his jokes were sexual and kind of mean. I hope it's the writers fault and not his.
