2005 Prince Acoustic Album Is it really considered?
A friend of mine close to Paisley Park says an acoustic album has been mastered just for the fun of it. Given the immense succes of the Musicology acoustic sets, I could just believe this rumour. If I remember correctly, these were just a few of the highlights of the acoustic set; Little Red Corvette Peach 17 Days Sometimes It Snows In April Alphabet St Raspberry Beret Prince & The Band 12:01 Cream Jailhouse Rock I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man On The Couch Adore Telemarketer's Blues Sweet Thing U Can Make It If U Try 7 Georgia On My Mind/What'd I Say? I don't want an acoustic live album, I want a new album,
something with songs as deep as "If I Was Ur Girlfriend" or as weird as "Crystal Ball" or as fun as "Moviestar" or as tripped out as "The Rainbow Children" or as hard rockin' as his ona live performances of bambi. What I don't want is another album I will grow tired of after three spins. 
if it were released, I guess my favorites would be the few new songs on it. perhaps. and 17 days. and I guess also When U Were Mine. And maybe Peach or 7. and ehm, I think "Adore" will sound cool too. You know what, I think I'm warming to the idea of one of them unplugged albums already  and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
