Prince on VH1's Driven?

Alright!, ya'll know how they always have these "Driven" shows on vh1 and they talk about celebrities lives and tell their whole live story from like when they was a baby, until...now-(like on E!)?
well I 've seen the Aaliyah one, Beyonce, Christina Agulaura, Bigie, Missy Elliot, Janet Jackson,, Usher, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson,Halle Berry, tyra Banks Snoop Dogg..and probably some others too, but i was wondering if they ever had a 'Driven' on Prince, and if they didn't then i wish that they would! smile Does anyone know if VH1 has done a Driven episode on Prince? i wanna see his life story on t.v ...4 real!

I think it would be cool for him to be on that show. I know he was mention in the Driven for Carmen Electra and Sheila E was one of the people talking about how Carmen met Prince.

I would rather see mim do "Inside the actors Studio". Even if just to see what he'd say his favourite curse word is..

I would love 2 see it. But I dunno if it would work confused ....2 explain the story of how Driven Prince is would take way more than an hour wink

Snap

I've noticed this for years -- all those MTV/VH1 bio-shows cover everyone BUT Prince! Very odd.

They might have to get the artist's permission first B4 they air it. Probably for legal reasons. And we all know how private Prince is.

I think that's because of most those shows compile old interviews and public appearences, which as we all know were rare prior 2 a few years ago. Also I think a show like "Driven" would never happen bcuz a lot the people who were professionally and personally linked 2 him over the years don't seem 2 b bubbling over with nice things 2 say.

Yes, it is a bit strange that they haven't done it. Maybe if they received requests from some of the viewers...

This topic came up a couple of weeks ago. The point was made that those types of shows rely on comments from people who were there and, better yet, the performer himself.

We know he's not talking. In interviews I've only heard comments from Dez, Susan Rogers, Jam/Lewis, Alan Leeds.. but their experiences are not current enough. And most of the people that could speak to the more recent period, post 90s, are contractually bound not to speak about him. And you know Londell is not shy about suing folks. Someone has said you have to sign a nondisclosure agreement to even get into PP studios.

Plus, I think you need to be white-hot and have a large teeny bopper fan base to be considered for Driven. He doesnt' have that. It's for the Ushers and Justins. At this point, they wouldn't even do one on Madonna, and she's a media/marketing whore. Time has passed for that generation of performer.
Come here, babe.. yeah...
