Be honest what do you think? I put so much work into this trying to get it as close as possible to the real thing. I must admit that getting my hair into that look took some hard work and it still turned out bad... The makeup was inspired by his look in rolling stone (the greatest r&r pictures of all time i believe)
Even people who hate prince thought it was bad-ass but I thought I should get the opinion of true prince fans like myself

You look nice and did a good job for making it yourself

my honest opinion: you should've used buttons as opposed to the strings for the trenchcoat. otherwise it all looks fine.

But you did a damn good job, though! The buttons would have made it perfect.

The buttons were a little out of my league but I could have sworn at one part in Purple Rain his trench has a belt (he doesn't have it tied though) I threw it on there to mask the seam between the top part of the coat and the bottom (I made this out of a pre-made shirt and matching satin)
