Fucking great show. I know it'll never happen, but I'd LOVE to have a remastered DVD of it!! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

That was a great show. Although Prince sort of takes over the joint at the end when he comes onstage to sing "A Love Bizarre" with Sheila.

I got mine from ebay about a month ago for £1! It's worth having even without the Prince showstealer.. I love when Sheila gets her pops and bro up to drum with her, nice [Edited 1/6/05 9:27am] The Hottest chip of them all - www.hotchip.co.uk - Get down with Prince

I remember when this aired on MTV the first time in lik 1985 or 86, I couldnt' believe my luck!
I had to go over someone's house who had a VCR so I could tape it.... in MONO! Eventually I got my own VHS copy years later. IT's an awesome show, and the debut of the DEFINITIVE version of Love BIzarre? (why oh why didn't they do it like that on the album??) I only recently found out the the Revolution did antoher songs (Kiss) I think.....why didn't they include that?

[Edited 1/6/05 9:27am] 1 bloody pound good deal well done,, i paid about £12 for mine off of e-bay. I think the show is alright but i cringe when she starts acting like a little child. When Prince comes on he tears shit up great little performance. If memory serves me correct though is there 2 versions of the show and one has a longer Prince performance? REALLY?? See that's what I heard, because there is audio for the 2nd song (Kiss, I think), but I never heard that it was available on video. Anyone know?

A friend of mine gave me copy from the promo tape sent to stores back in 85. The only difference is when Prince stops the band on the regular release the frame freezes, on this promo tape the lights go out and you can see Wendy and Mike ready to start Kiss. Great show. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

No you see them get ready then it cuts off but the lights go out, the frame doesn't freeze like the released one, looks cool that way. I've never heard of any of that show in circulation other than the form it's in. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

It's hilarious that she gets Eddie (I think) to pull on that romper suit, what the hell were they thinking? I thought the whole bubble gum skit was very similar to the ice cream gag Eddie Murphy did once upon a time. The Hottest chip of them all - www.hotchip.co.uk - Get down with Prince

The funniest part of that is when she opens the TOy Box and her brother pops out and shes says: "Look, it's Juan E.!" Ya know Prince probably wrote that whole skit and thought it was funny. It is kinda strange, although once they get going and sing Toy Box, she rocks on those timbales....while still chewing gum and in the pajamas! [Edited 1/7/05 9:29am]

Actually, that was a warm-up thing that P was doing for the Parade tour at the time. Sheila would play her whole set, Prince & The Revolution would appear unannounced at the encore, then play a short set after Sheila's band exited. Sort of a "two for the price of one" concert thing.
