2 date: Cinnamon Girl.

A lot of the 93-95 stuff is very cheaply produced (eg. Dolphin, Eye Like It There, Count The Days, I Hate U and not to forget The Beautiful Experience & Love 4 Oneanother shows). A lot of these just look like Prince woke up one morning and said "You know, I'd love to make a video for _____. Hey you... yes you! go and grab my camcorder!"

The cheapest would have to be Paisley Park, or SOTT. Come on, he isn't even in them. Didn't he do the same on a track from The Black Album? I don't count that one because he wasn't involved in the making of that one, but the computer text for SOTT? Come on! Whats up with that?

I agree. Anyone seen that BBC liquid assets tv programme on prince? Talking about his money spending? Some prodcuer of "gett off" said that video was a $million or so, or was that the "7" video?

Whoever said some of the "3 chains of gold" videos look the cheapest needs to c more videos (not their fault).....some of them videos r pointlessly expensive looking, not by props but by the high tec camera's they use. Film quality.....

I'd say either "batdance" "partyman" "7" or "cream". "cream" becuase of the looooong prologue in the trian station. The full bloody 10 minutes or whatever.

Cheapest video by far would be the promo video (W/the band) for "I wanna be your lover".

"Call my Name" looks pretty high dollar.

i saw that BBC liquid assets programme - it was pretty gd. felt sorry for the guy that made Prince's canes. When he was talkin about hiring a lawyer to sue him..he seemed to get quite upset - poor guy!

i think SOTT is by far the cheapest video - any others.. as cheap as they look - still require lights and cameras etc... i cld make SOTT on my comp in a few hours - it wlda jst been one guy makin it back then - one wage.. no frills.

And as mentioned above.. in the liquid assets programme they seemed to think "7" was a really expensive video - coz the crew and equipment cost $100,000 a day - and prince kept them waiting for many.. and it was a couple of weeks before they even started shooting.
