I remember reading LaToya Jackson's biography years ago and I remeber her mentioning Prince coming over to visit Michael at their home in California in the mid eighties. I don't remember exactly what she wrote but she said Prince was really hitting on her hardcore. She said she thought he was a complete werido ( and that is saying something if your brother is Michael) But I don't remember much eles. Anyone eles know about this?

I remember reading that, but I don't remember reading that she thought he was a weirdo, I remember her saying that she was totally fascinated with him, because he was such a "bad boy" at the time. She said she "felt" for him. Remember, she came from a religious, repressed household with a strict ass father, so she had probably never met anyone like Prince before. Seeing as how she let the freak in her come out a few years later, I think she definately woulda had a thing with Prince (if it weren't for her father).

I also remember either Jimmy or Terry saying that when they first met Janet and started to record with her, her father yelled at them "I don't want my daughter sounding like Prince!"

in same autobiography she met him in 1978 or 1979 at an ice rink or something. He asked her out and she said no.....kinda funny story.

this is from a different mj book i have and it's unauthorized so not sure if it's true or not but here u go. (paragraph)Not long after michael went to a screening of purple rain michael invited prince to hayvenhurst for dinner with latoya and janet. But if he had any hopes of pumping prince for advice (acting advice in which michael was apparently jelous of)his hopes were dashed when he discovered that prince was just as taciturn as he was.Host and guest barely exchanged a word,although the five foot tall prince made several less than subtle passesat latoya. when it was over pince handed michael an unwrapped box and departed. inside were some leaves,twigs,and a tape that when played backward contained some satanic sounding chants. then it goes on to say stuff of possibilities that prince was trying to curse michael and stalk him and crap like that, like i said maybe rumors. I recall an interview with LaToya where she says that Prince asked her out in 1978,shortly after he released his first album.She politely turned him down and I guess he was pissed because when he saw her at a restaurant a few years later,he walked right past her without saying a word.But she remained a huge fan of his work,covering his song "Private Joy" in 1984.
