a superb song, excellent lyrics. heartbreakin...

but which version do you like best ?

a have a bootleg called yellow with a version of five women thats slightly different and a bit slower than the 1 on the vault


how do you consider this song. to me it is a supreme prince classic !!!

Much respect to 'Five Women'! I think it was written for Joe Cocker to sing, but Prince is on a real Albert King vibe on the guitar on this one. One of my favourates from the much under-rated 'Vault' album.
