I usually let things lie, but I'm dyin' to know.. The other day, I did a Google search on the org, and one of the items it pulled up was a thread about the infamous July 2003 "Help the Cause!" email from NPGMC. This is the one that asks people to send their copies of certain WB releases (oh, and all their bootlegs as well!) to some goofy address in Ohio. (For anyone unfamiliar with this, or who needs a memory refresher, the thread is here: http://www.prince.org/msg/5001/56086 )
I'm just curious what came of all that. Did anyone actually send ANYTHING to that address? I don't recall hearing about any "federal court case" (while backpedaling, NPGMC suggested this was what they needed evidence for, though even that didn't make any sense). I wasn't an NPGMC member (or an org member!) at that time, so I only heard about this later/thru the grapevine. If anyone can provide any insight, please post it on here, thanks. I'm beginning to wonder if every once in a while it's Prince on a bender sending out these emails instead of the NPGMC staff.

There's a facility in Ohio that produces tons of dihydrogen monoxide. There's a link there somewhere. | |
