One thing I would like to c is an autobiography. I ain't no hardcore fan, but would love to c what he writes as sooo many questions could be answered. Like "why u sack tony M?" etc.....

I don't think there's a chance in hell that he would ever do an autobiography any time soon.

I think that late in his career he might permit members of his inner circle to talk openly about the work, though. Maybe some revealing interviews. I think he's too private a person. That kind of thing doesn't really change. But who knows. Who'd have thought that he'd stop singing about sex and become a JW.

I would have no intrest in reading an even authorized bio of Prince. People always tell half truths about themselves to make themselves look/sound better.

You have to sign a four page confidentiality agreement to walk inside of PP. How much do you really think would ever be told by Prince or anyone else in the inner circle?

Yeah, If you really wanna know about Prince you need to read sleazy tell all books like Possessed by Alex Hahn. Prince would never tell the true about his past.

My bet is if he were to write his autobiography there would be so much rewritten history, omissions of facts, skewing of reality and/or difficult to understand babble it would be like reading a work of fiction anyway.

I doubt such a book would answer many fans' questions about Prince's life.

I think I do not want to read something like that. It wouldn't be the truth and I wouldn't care about it even if it was the truth.

Hard to put it in words, but a certain part of the fascination of being a Prince fan has always been the myst, the shadow, the legend around him. I think everybody who has been around since the 80'ies knows what I mean.

The more I got to know about Prince from his own mouth (beginning with that legendary embarassing 1985 MTV interview), the more I was more or less disenchanted.

And I definately don't want to read 10 chapters about JW, the new transcription, and brotha Larry showing him the way to the "truth".

Sometimes it's better if one does not know too much. And sometimes (very seldom, but definately in this case) it's better to ignore certain pieces of information.
