It sucks.
Janet's voice simply isn't very inspiring. Although, I would have loved to have heard her sing Erotic City with P or perhaps Sugar Walls, or Sex Shooter.

Prince has played this song live in tokyo and during the song he shouts: "Who wrote that"
Rosie does the vocals if I remember well ! Futuristic Fantasy

Rosie does the vocals if I remember well ! Well, either he was suggesting HE wrote it secretly, but more likely, it is at a point in the show that is a kind of running joke battle with Rosie, where she's singing covers and he's like, what you doing singing other people's songs on my show?! Though I've said many times, the drum machine pattern on 'The Pleasure Principle' by Janet is almost identical to the drum on the later 'Electric Chair'.

I think it's more of a joke, when he says that.
Meaning Jam and Lewis obviously wrote something that sounds so much like his own stuff. That whole album is written by them and Monte Moir and Jellybean. all members of the Time.... so of course it's going to sound like Prince.
