Just because someone states something that is not in line with what you think does not make it hogwash.

Ok, Darryl. Forgive me for not being one of the ones who thinks everything Prince says and does is gold.

You believe what you want, I already know what Scripture teaches... it doesn't matter. My point was, that when he said it, he had asshole attitude written all over it. Like he was better than anybody else.

Well Prince can kiss my ass, cause he ain't.

First, who the hell is Darryl? Second, if you read the scriptures and knew what you were talking about, what he said wouldn't have been a big deal. Period. and if you profess to be a Christian, it does matter. If it doesn't, then I would argue that one really isn't all that faithful.

And wtf is "asshold attitude?" This is hilarious. You're so wrapped up in Prince that he made you angry with the way he said what he said? LOL.

Saying what one believes in is not implying that you are better than anyone else. or that that everything that person says is (lol) gold. Did you really just write that? LMAO. But I give it up to anyone who says that they believe in something, and actually take the time to read up on it, figure out what's what, and live by it. 99% of "Christians" don't know what's up.

Sreiously, you sound like you're angry at the man. Funny. Why is this? Tell us.

As true as that may be... he still should've kept his mouth shut or said something else.

He wasn't around back in the day, so how does he know what's what? Cause somebody told him and he was fool enough to believe it.

Ever since that moment, June 7th has now been deemed Nimrod's birthday.

No one was around to "know what's what" back in the day, so by your logic, we should never discuss history, the Bible, etc., etc.

What's up with the knee-jerk reactions to anything that challenges what we think is the gospel? If you do some research, the Bible plainly states that there is to be no celebration of Jesus birth, that Jesus wasn't even born in December, and that Nimrod is the basis of what is literally a pagan holiday, Christmas.

Just because someone states something that is not in line with what you think does not make it hogwash.
Personally, I think that when people challenge other's beliefs, the ignorant will go postal, and level-headed, intelligent people tend to at least think about it. I personally like it when someone challenges a long-held belief I have or held.

Deeper research is the key! cool Because knowledge is power.

I will defend Prince on that incident. He was right. Christmas has nothing to do with The Messiah at all (BTW, Yahshua was born in the middle of September, NOT December). But that another story.....

CORRECTION: December 25th, not June 7th. Again, that's another story.

Mel B. ask Prince an honest question. Prince gave an honest (controversial) answer.

If people would make the time to conduct their own research like Prince did for once in his life, the people will learn a lot of things that were never taught in the public/private school systems.

Maybe Prince was wrong for how he said it at the time. But he was right for telling the truth!

Christmas is not the actual birthdate of our Lord and Savior, those of us who know... know! His comment was negative towards those who celebrate Christmas in honor of Christ.

And wtf is "asshold attitude?" This is hilarious. You're so wrapped up in Prince that he made you angry with the way he said what he said? LOL.

I personally am not wrapped up in Prince. My anger stemmed from his abuse of power. He needs to watch what he says as a person who has the ears of numerous people. There is a time and place, even a special forum to discuss his beliefs. Interviews for the fans need to be for connecting, not disconnecting. It was stupid and irresponsible.

Saying what one believes in is not implying that you are better than anyone else. or that that everything that person says is (lol) gold.

Trust me... his attitude and the way he said it, he was making the implication that he was above certain people at the time.

Did you really just write that? LMAO. But I give it up to anyone who says that they believe in something, and actually take the time to read up on it, figure out what's what, and live by it. 99% of "Christians" don't know what's up.

I can't speak for the other 99%, but I know what I know, and he knows what he knows... they are two entirely different truths, and I pray for the salvation is his soul.

Sreiously, you sound like you're angry at the man. Funny. Why is this? Tell us.

Not really so much angry at the man, but what the enemy has done to and through him. Prince has the power to spread the Word to the masses and his attitude as to what is truth, and what is not... needs to be humbled and kept in check.

If he truly knew the truth, he would represent in an appropriate manner.

He has grown since this interview and he has changed his attitude for the better. At the time though, this was a serious "WTF" moment.
