TV alert: Prince on U.S. TV this Sunday

Don't think this has been posted yet...per PP3 at NPGMC: "Prince will b presenting the 1st award of the nite at Sunday's People's Choice Awards." This info was in a "sticky" thread in the News forum. Anyone know if this show will be on TV anywhere outside of the U.S.?
"I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

if prince is there then that he probably won something..

why? because the People Choice tell the winners ahead of time....thats why you get those recorded satelite acceptance speeches..

i wouldnt be too shocked that prince wins over usher...he has a much larger (and older) base.....the winners are picked by polling so its not gonna be slanted towards the youth (cause theres more old folks in the world...)..

Dont forget guys, that the PCA are the only award show that anounced the winners ahead of time, so 99% of the "nominated" artists schedule to appear on the live telecast allready know they won (that's why theres so much star power every year in such a lame award show).

So i dont think Prince will show up if he din't won.

Hopefully someone will upload it to the newsgroup. I'm sure it will be easy to find on the Internet for motivated, fairly intelligent people anyway.

Um, probably more to do with the fact that Prince fans are RABID...and this year, for the first time, it's all done via Internet. It was posted on here and/or the NPG board and I personally voted til they wouldn't let me no' mo.

More importantly, where is the aftershow, cuz I needs me a fix o Prince! (OMG in the 25+ years I've been into him I don't think he's done this show...now I know why the movies have been playing...)

THANX SO-0-0 MUCH!

Has Prince ever presented an award before? It seems a strange thing for him to do, unless it was for a friend of his. It's not like he needs the publicity or anything like most celebrities that present awards.

If I was up for an award and they wanted me to go to a show, I'd say, sorry can't make it. Then they might go, well, actually you won, would you like to make a pre-recorded acceptance speech? Then I'd go, actually, I've changed my mind, I think I'll turn up after all!

All I can think of right now is the induction of George Clinton into the RnRHoF
in 1997 and an award in 1986 (cannot remember who won or what it was exactly, some kind of song award).

It was Huey Lewis in '86 for best song. He also gave one to TLC one time if I remember rightly.
