i recall hearing that prince intends to rerelease all his albums at some time or another. i was wondering if anyone knew when this would be, because the sound quality on for you and prince are not so great; i'd love to hear these albums remastered.

Prince did say he intended to *re-record* his entire back-catalogue - which, as BorisFishpaw has stated here many a time, he did complete.

You're probably referring to the language Prince used "new masters" as in 1999: The New Master. This is different to remastering, Prince re-recorded the songs, or at least parts of them - nothing is really known of the work he did during this time (1999/2000) other than the release of 1999: The New Master, and we all know what an unflushable turd that was.

All of Prince's 80s albums need remastered and re-releasing, but as has often been discussed here, it's a stale-mate situation because Prince won't play ball with WB.
