Though I've said many times, the drum machine pattern on 'The Pleasure Principle' by Janet is almost identical to the drum on the later 'Electric Chair'.

Meaning Jam and Lewis obviously wrote something that sounds so much like his own stuff. That whole album is written by them and Monte Moir and Jellybean. all members of the Time.... so of course it's going to sound like Prince.
