I ask everybody what CD's I should listen to first as a semi-rokkiw Prince fan and everyone told me Sign'O'Times was the best. Next though, I got a lot of Lovesexy answers. Well, I order Sign'O'Times a couple of days ago, but I got and have been listening to Lovesexy...and...

DAMN!!! It is awsome! I loved Purple Rain the album and thought Prince did a great job of mixing all sorts of different styled songs, but damn, Lovesexy MIGHT be better.

Every song is great, even though my least favroit is Alphebt Street and I think all of ya like that one the most.

I can't wait to get Sign'O'Times now cuz that is probably gonna be better, Damn!..You guys were right!

THE CELEBRATION...is an event that i have gone to for the last 2 years...its around prince' birthday JUNE 7TH.
and it usually last 7 days...its in his home town of mpls minnesota. and everynight theres some kind of activity going on at his studio complex called "paisly park" GET THE ALBUM AROUND THE WORLD IN A DAY TO HEAR WHAT PAISLY PARK REPRESENTED TO HIM IN 1985. at paisley there are nightly dances and performers like alicia keys eryka badu common...nikka costa...prince... also last year he did TWO concerts in a mpls arena...it was KOOL and it kinda was the start of the whole SOUNDCHECK thing you will hear us talking about...FUNK THATS WHAT ITS ABOUT !!! JAMES BROWN...SLY STONE...GEORGE CLINTON...PRINCE ...now which one would u prefer to see today ???? id say SLY but thats only cause aint nobody seen sly in ages...so in the real world PRINCE IS IT !!!!! ENJOY

I'm in the minority, but I always thought Lovesexy was the most overrated Prince album among net Prince fans. Not the worst Prince album, but not a top tier album to me.
