BLENDER: PRINCE TO CROAK AT 56! The latest issue of Blender magazine includes Prince in its recurring section where they estimate the life expectancy of a celebrity. Get this, they figure he will kick the bucket at 56!  The stress of control issues and perfectionism are the chief culprits. Of course, I do not think there is any way this could be true. What do you think? It does bring up the question of how many years does Prince have left? At a minimum, I think he will live well into his 70s. However, how long he continues performing and/or recording is anyone's guess. Opnions?

56 is way too low a number. Just look at all of the former and current full-fledged drug addicts that are still in the game (for example, Keith Richards aka Grim Reaper) or that lived long lives.
He was never really into drugs, he doesn't drink or smoke, he gets a lot of exercise, he eats a very clean diet... Just doesn't make sense. Even taking into account his round-the-clock self-imposed schedule and his type-A personality.. he shouldn't lose 20 yrs because of that... But then again, who the f*** knows. There are plenty of genetic predispositions to illness that have nothing to do with how we live our lives. Let's hope he doesn't succumb to those and he should be around for a good, long time.
