I'm since plenty of pics of Prince wearing glasses and I like them all. Does he actually need them?

In the most recent photo of Prince at Lakers game,sitting next to Samuel Jackson
reading something, I would say he is wearing No Line Bifocals (progressive lenses). Presbyopia (the need for reading glasses) affects us all, usually in our 40's.

I dont like the new big glasses. I like the old Sign O' The Times little 60s style glasses.

Prince can afford eye surgery.....maybe coloured contacts turn mani on?

I know it's probably just how this second in time looked when the picture was snapped, but in this photo Prince has that kinda myopic, tilted head back thing going on that you see older folks do when their eyesight isn't the greatest. I see my parents do that all the time when they're trying to read small print.

But like I said, that's probably not really the case behind this pic as, like someone else stated earlier on this thread, Prince could afford to have LASIK surgery if he wanted and not have to deal with bad eyesight as he grows older (unless hes not a candidate for such surgery, who knows)

Anyway, that was my first thought upon seeing this pic was that it looked like he was straining to read tiny print.

Back in the 80s, right before and especially after Purple Rain came out, those round glasses - in my neck of the woods, anyway - were pretty much synonymous with Prince (and yes I do realize John Lennon famously wore round framed glasses before Prince ever did) and you could find them EVERYWHERE in the malls. Speaking from my experience as a teenager during that era and in the area where I lived, those round glasses were rather like the Madonna lace gloves and rubber bracelets or the Wham-inspired bright neon colored stuff or Michael Jackson's glittery glove..they just really represented Prince/Purple Rain.

Myself and my friends who were all huge Prince fanatics all had our own pairs of mirrored round glasses like that, all just because Prince wore them and looked so cool in them!
